Some associates are unaware of what constitutes sexual harassment. It is HR's job to properly train their associates to be aware of what sexual harassment is and the penalties involved if they are found harassing co-workers. Here is a short clip on an example of an associate being accused of sexually harassing a co-worker.

Every company should have a policy and procedures set up to deal with sexual harassment situations.  Sexual harassment cases could cost companies millions of dollars and decrease company morale.  Describe your company's sexual harassment policy and procedures, as well as, your thoughts on how effective it is.

Have you ever been in a tight situation with a co-worker where you felt that your space was being invaded? In most cases co-workers do not realize that they are doing anything wrong in the first place and take it as flirtatious gestures, but in reality they may be harassing their co-worker.  It is very important to report any acts of harassment to the proper personnel.
